Compare to the shop I was operating out of to the newly renovated boutique nail salon, the difference is huge when it comes to customer satisfaction. Everyone, from repeat clients to the new ones, loves the space so much. Your design and construction team is so easy to work with, and the job was done so quickly that I was able to open for the busy season as planned. The additional stations which I didn’t know I could have were great, more stations meant better able to serve our customers. If I am going to open another salon, you know who I will call!
Eric has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish on our home renovation. He set clear expectations on the scope of work and cost that he stayed true to throughout our work together. Throughout the process Eric offered helpful design ideas and constructive solutions around difficult existing conditions, to allow us to meet achieve a more livable and attractive space. For anyone looking for an architect, let me recommend Eric Lam in the strongest possible terms.
As novices to renovating an older home, we were somewhat daunted by the prospect of renovating our townhouse in Brooklyn. But from the outset of working with Eric, he expertly shepherded us through the process–from navigating the New York City Department of Building’s requirements, to conceptualizing the design and producing a blueprint, to the renovations themselves.
Eric is a creative and resourceful architect. Knowing that we were on a fixed budget, he consistently found inventive–but cost-effective–solutions to design issues we encountered during the project. Equally important, Eric is a fine listener. Naturally, we also had many, many questions along the way, and he was unfailingly patient in answering them. An excellent communicator, Eric also worked well with our contractor to stay on schedule and within budget. More specifically, he skillfully kept the project on track when the contractor might otherwise have deviated from the plan we’d laid out.
Under Eric’s guidance, our renovation went smoothly, and we’re simply delighted with the results.
